National Operations Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI

The National Operations Manager will be responsible for launching a national training program for our client’s partner dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep operations understanding of retail automotive dealerships including fixed operations.  Candidates should have experience successfully launching a national program within the automotive industry.  Candidates must have leadership experience, excellent facilitation skills, and a “client-first” attitude.  


  • Manage team of Market Operations Managers to ensure effective service to Client dealerships
  • Provide strong leadership of the program vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with our clients, partners, and internal team members to understand training needs and best practices for program implementation
  • Responsible for managing the program training timelines for the participating dealerships
  • Manage and track program deliverables to deliver on time and in scope
  • Become the product expert on all aspects of the client's service offering, including tools, technology, best practices, computer system, etc.
  • Review reports/dashboards of assigned Field Trainer dealer performance; establish plans for addressing underperforming dealers
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage remote teams
  • Experience launching a successful national program
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Program Management experience, preferred
  • Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage dealership personnel at all levels (including management) and respond to questions/concerns in a positive manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be flexible enough to respond positively to changes in schedule based on the needs of the Client
  • Available to travel 50% - 75%
  • Frequently standing up or moving within the office
  • Ability to handle computer keyboard, phone, office equipment
