Overview:

Jackson Dawson is seeking an experienced driver with a Class A CDL license to drive an F350 pulling a 40’ gooseneck lowboy flatbed trailer carrying a structure. The cargo supports a national consumer experience tour.

Dates Needed:

• April 20^th to May 1^st
• May 11^th to May 14^th
• May 18^th to May 22^nd
• June 9^th to June 13^th
• June 29^th to July 3^rd
• October 6^th to October 18^th
• November 12^th to November 21^st
• November 29^th to December 4^th
• January 1^st to January 11^th
• Dates are subject to minor changes/additional dates will be added

Rate: $25/hr. as a temporary W2 employee

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip inspections, check unit to identify and repair minor faults, and report major mechanical breakdowns to a skilled mechanic.
• Maintain all vehicle trip, fuel, and IFTA logs as DOT requires.
• Maintain a logbook to record miles covered and hours traveled and ensure all necessary documentation with freight is filled in and submitted.
• Report any delays that may affect the timely delivery of the truck and trailer to the Executive Producer.
• Report any accident incurred while transporting the freight to the Executive Producer immediately.
• Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
• The position may include other duties as determined by the company.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Class A license, maintain DOT requirements of license, and maintain a clean driving record.
• 10+ years of experience as a Class A driver
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.
• Expansive knowledge of road signs and safety procedures is expected of the driver.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit for extensive periods of time when driving.
