Field Manager

Department: RMD Tour Staff


The Field Manager serves as the primary event specialist in charge of flawless execution and quality assurance of the event. This position directs use of event resources (personnel, event set-up, and equipment) to ensure maximum effectiveness of brand message and achievement of objectives. Continually optimizes quality in all areas including but not limited to: event entertainment value (sound and visual), effectiveness of interaction with consumers, and total impact of mobile marketing initiative on target audience.

The Field Manager works closely with the event producer, oversees event, and documents the event via reporting and pictures.


  • On-site presence at all event activations
  • Checks in all staff for respective events
  • Confirms that all staff is in appropriate uniform
  • Reviews key messaging points with all staff and ensures brand message is effectively conveyed
  • Relieves staff for breaks throughout the day
  • Maintains staff motivated to ensure successful execution
  • Consults with Account Manager immediately to discuss any on-site issues
  • Meets with Producer for final walk-through prior to event launch
  • Keeps Account Manager apprised throughout event day of progress

o Submits one photo with text confirmation that event has launched

o Submits one photo with text confirmation mid-way through event to report progress

o Submits one photo at event wrap with final text confirmation

o Takes required photos/video for reporting purposes

o Event outcome

o Staffing observations/recommendations

  • Performs other related duties as assigned
