Maintenance Technician - Jackson Dawson, Dearborn, MI

Jackson Dawson seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Dearborn office headquarters. The ideal candidate is a versatile handyperson with comprehensive building maintenance expertise and a strong work ethic.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00/hr. with health benefits, 401(k), and PTO

Responsibilities:

• Perform diverse building maintenance tasks, including:
  • Minor repairs (lighting, drywall, furniture, plumbing)
  • Systems monitoring (temperature, leaks, appliances)
  • Facility upkeep (snow removal, landscaping, cleaning)
• Maintain organized mechanical, electrical, and storage areas
• Coordinate with licensed vendors for specialized repairs
• Conduct regular building system inspections
• Execute additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience
• Building Management Systems (BMS) knowledge preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Comfortable using ladders
  • Capable of traversing facility for diagnostics and repairs
