Job Summary:
Jackson Dawson is looking to welcome a Content Strategist, Communications Manager, specializing in purposeful content creation across social and digital media, ecommerce, community platforms, and experiential events. The ideal fit for this role is a natural storyteller with a distinct voice and ability to connect with audiences across platforms and topics; is organized, motivated, and holds themselves to high standards for creativity and excellence. This person is an early adopter with natural curiosity for new technology, emerging social trends, and building community.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the creative team to conceptualize and create social and media content
- Build client confidence with an overall vision, philosophy, and work process to deliver creative solutions; earn trust by providing valuable guidance and perspective during strategic discussions and creative direction
- Manage relationships with internal and external creative partners: internal departments, agencies, freelancers, and contributors
- Ensure strategic alignment of proposals and deliverables with business needs and priorities
- Work with project management to monitor and manage timelines and budgets
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in social media design, writing, or equivalent creative field
- Graphic design, basic photography/ (mobile) videography skills, condensed-form writing, eye-catching captioning in the moment, understanding near-sighted social analytics as they relate to the current algorithms, social campaign project management.
- Experience in running or assisting social media brands/personalities, creating strategic content, campaigns, and big-picture solutions.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote and/or equivalent presentation software a must
- Some travel may be required
